Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue explores how artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, digital platforms, fintech, and data-driven business models are reshaping firms, industries, and cross-sector business ecosystems in pursuit of sustainability. We welcome empirical, conceptual, and review papers that examine how digital transformation enhances efficiency, resilience, customer value, governance, and inclusive growth across business processes such as operations, marketing, finance, supply chains, and service delivery. Particular attention will be given to AI-enabled decision making, platform ecosystems, digital finance, sustainable innovation, and responsible technology adoption.

The issue aims to extend the existing literature by moving beyond firm-level digitalization toward an ecosystem perspective that connects technological innovation with environmental, social, and economic sustainability outcomes. It will provide an interdisciplinary venue for research on the opportunities, risks, governance challenges, and strategic implications of AI-driven digital transformation in contemporary business.
