Welcome to the 2nd International Electronic Conference on Animals
The 2nd International Electronic Conference on Animals—Global Sustainability and Animals: Welfare, Policies and Technologies, chaired by Prof. Dr. Clive J. C. Phillips and Dr. Andrea Pezzuolo, will be hosted on https://ieca2021.sciforum.net/ from 29 November 2021 to 13 December 2021.
This conference aims to provide leading scientists working in the field of Global Sustainability and Animals with a robust common platform through which to share and discuss the latest research and to promote the advancement of this exciting and rapidly changing field. We hope to encourage discovery across the discipline as we cover the following four broad themes in sessions A–F, as listed below:
A. Climate change and effects on the sustainability of animal systems;
B. Sustainability of animal use and demand for animal products;
C. Sustainable animal welfare, ethics, policies and politics;
D. Sustainable animal health;
E. Sustainable animal feeding;
F. Smart technology and precision livestock farming.
The conference will be completely free of charge—both to attend and for scholars to upload and present their latest work on the conference platform. There will also be the possibility to submit selected papers to the journal Animals (ISSN 2076-2615; Impact Factor: 2.323) with a 30% discount on the APCs.
