2021	Surfaces was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2023	Surfaces received its first Impact Factor (2022) of 2.0. Surfaces was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 2 (Issue 1).
2024	Surfaces received its first CiteScore (2023) of 4.4.
