Sensors Receives an Updated Impact Factor of 3.5

We are pleased to share that the Sensors was awarded an increased Impact Factor of 3.5 in the 2024 Journal Citation Reports™ released by Clarivate in June 2025:
- The journal ranks in Q2 (24 among 79 titles) in the “Instruments and Instrumentation” category;
- The journal ranks in Q2 (38 among 111 titles) in the “Chemistry, Analytical” category;
- The journal ranks in Q2 (132 among 366 titles) in the “Engineering, Electrical and Electronic” category.
The 2024 Journal Impact Factor is calculated by dividing the number of citations received in 2024 to all publications in the journal from 2022 and 2023 by the total number of citable publications from those same years.
