Recruiting Editorial Board Members for Remote Sensing

In order to further enhance the international influence of the Remote Sensing (ISSN: 2072-4292) and promote academic exchange among researchers, we are currently recruiting prestigious scholars from around the world to join our Editorial Board.
Recruitment:
Editorial Board Members will hold the position for two years, with the possibility of renewal for a second term.
Application eligibility:
- Completed their doctorate/PhD degree;
- Researchers must have served as the first author/corresponding author on at least ten peer-reviewed and published manuscripts in the last five years;
- Researchers must have published impactful work in the field of remote sensing.
- Researchers that are currently (at the time of application) holding a senior lecturer, associate professor or professor title in academia;
- Researchers that are actively engaged in their community (e.g., experienced at presenting at conferences or involved in professional organizations).
The main responsibilities of Editorial Board Members are as follows:
- Pre-screening and making decisions on new submissions related to their research interests;
- Setting up at least one Special Issue during their term on a topic related to their research interests (or supervising Special Issues related to their research field);
- Helping to attract suitable expert authors and inviting young scholars to join the Topical Advisory Panel;
- Providing input or feedback regarding journal policies;
- Helping promote the journal among their peers or at conferences;
- Attending Board Meetings to suggest journal development strategies;
- Reviewing manuscripts.
According to the expertise, Editorial Board Members may be assigned to a specific journal Section as Section Board Members; in this case, they are primarily committed to this Section.

The selection process: initial screening of application materials → selection by the Editor-in-Chief and Section Editor-in-Chief → email notification → issuing a certificate of appointment.
