27–29 January 2027 The 2nd International Online Conference on Atoms (IOCAT 2027)

Online

Dear Researchers,

We are pleased to announce that IOCAT will return in 2027, following the success of the first edition in 2026. Organized by MDPI’s open access journal Atoms (ISSN: 2218-2004; Impact Factor: 1.5), the 2nd International Online Conference on Atoms (IOCAT 2027) will be held online from 27 to 29 January 2027.

The first edition of IOCAT garnered a huge amount of interest among the community, serving as an international forum dedicated to atomic physics and its applications. Building on this success, the 2027 edition will take place over three days, allowing for a broader scientific program and more opportunities for discussion and interaction among participants.

IOCAT2027 aims to bring together researchers working in diverse areas of atomic physics and related fields, providing a platform to present recent advances in and exchange ideas on both theoretical and experimental developments.

This conference will feature the following sessions:

S1. Atomic structure and spectroscopy: theory and experiment;
S2. Atomic collisions and strong field processes;
S3. Atomic data for astrophysics and laboratory plasmas;
S4. Cold atoms, quantum control and quantum technologies;
S5. Computational and AI methods in atomic physics;
S6. Fundamental tests and precision measurements with atoms.

22–23 October 2026 SEQUENCE 2026

Ostrava, Czech Republic

The First International Symposium on Quantum Intelligence (SEQUENCE 2026) is aimed at meeting the growing interest in quantum computing and related developments worldwide. The primary motivation behind the inaugural edition of SEQUENCE 2026 is to enable quantum computing researchers to showcase their novel and innovative initiatives in this field. This initiative also aligns with the United Nations' declaration of 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology.

SEQUENCE 2026 will be organized by the VSB Technical University of Ostrava in the Czech Republic on October 22–23, 2026. SEQUENCE 2026 will feature prominent researchers, engineers, developers, and practitioners from academia and industry to showcase their innovative ideas in quantum computing and quantum computational intelligence, encompassing foundations of quantum intelligence, quantum AI algorithms and models, hybrid quantum–classical learning and optimization, quantum-inspired intelligent systems, quantum error correction and mitigation models, and multilevel quantum systems, with applications spanning across security, sensing, communication, healthcare, signal and image processing, finance, and scientific computing.

SEQUENCE 2026 mandates a unique chance to get insight into quantum computing developments through insightful tutorials from the best in academia and industry, to discover the best tools and practices, and to meet eminent quantum computing researchers and practitioners from all over the world.
