Online
Dear Researchers,
We are pleased to announce that IOCAT will return in 2027, following the success of the first edition in 2026. Organized by MDPI’s open access journal Atoms (ISSN: 2218-2004; Impact Factor: 1.5), the 2nd International Online Conference on Atoms (IOCAT 2027) will be held online from 27 to 29 January 2027.
The first edition of IOCAT garnered a huge amount of interest among the community, serving as an international forum dedicated to atomic physics and its applications. Building on this success, the 2027 edition will take place over three days, allowing for a broader scientific program and more opportunities for discussion and interaction among participants.
IOCAT2027 aims to bring together researchers working in diverse areas of atomic physics and related fields, providing a platform to present recent advances in and exchange ideas on both theoretical and experimental developments.
This conference will feature the following sessions:
S1. Atomic structure and spectroscopy: theory and experiment;
S2. Atomic collisions and strong field processes;
S3. Atomic data for astrophysics and laboratory plasmas;
S4. Cold atoms, quantum control and quantum technologies;
S5. Computational and AI methods in atomic physics;
S6. Fundamental tests and precision measurements with atoms.
