The 25th Brazilian Congress of Chemical Engineering and the 20th Brazilian Meeting on Chemical Engineering Education
Welcome to the 25th edition of COBEQ and the 20th edition of ENBEQ, which will be held in Belo Horizonte, organized and hosted by the Federal University of Minas Gerais and promoted by ABEQ, from October 6 to 10, 2025.
The Brazilian Chemical Engineering Congress (COBEQ) is the most important Brazilian event in chemical engineering. Since 1976, it has acted as a biannual meeting place for professionals from academia and business, allowing them to present and discuss prominent and current topics related to the research, innovation, and applications of chemical engineering in Brazil and worldwide.
Integrated with COBEQ, the Brazilian Meeting on Chemical Engineering Education (ENBEQ) is a traditional event in the field of chemical engineering education in Brazil, where scientific and technological developments contextualized in academic and industrial environments are disseminated and discussed.
With a constant focus on environmental protection, reducing the use of natural resources, and waste reduction, the 25th edition of COBEQ, integrated with the 20th edition of ENBEQ, will have as its central theme “the importance of chemical engineering for sustainable development: circular economy, urban mining, and process safety”.
