Travel Award
Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce the two winners of 2020 Processes Travel Awards: Dr. Dinesh Krishnamoorthy, a postdoctoral fellow at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Norway, and Mr. Borja Hernández, a Ph.D. student at the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain. Each winner received 800 Swiss Francs.
Dr. Krishnamoorthy’s research focuses on Machine Learning for Process Optimization and Process Control. He plans to attend the American Control Conference (ACC2020) in Denver, USA, to present his work entitled “Real-Time Optimal Resource Allocation in an Industrial Symbiotic Network Using Transient Measurements”.
Mr. Hernández works on Biogas Dry Reforming. He plans to attend the 30th European Symposium on Computer Aided Process Engineering (ESCAPE-30) in Milano, Italy, to present his work entitled “Systematic Generation of a Robust Compartment Model for Counter-Current Spray Dryers”.
