A section of Neurology International (ISSN 2035-8377).

Section Information

Brain tumors and brain injuries are two distinct but fundamental neurological disorders. The “Brain Tumor” Section covers types of tumors, such as the characteristics of benign and malignant tumors, their causes of formation, developmental processes, and the symptoms they may trigger, like headaches, vomiting, visual impairments, and cognitive changes. It also explores diagnostic methods, such as imaging studies and pathological analysis, as well as treatment approaches like surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. The “Brain Injury” Section, on the other hand, focuses on brain damage caused by trauma, stroke, hypoxia, etc. It explains the mechanisms and manifestations of different types of brain injuries, such as impaired consciousness, hemiplegia, and language dysfunction. It also introduces emergency measures and rehabilitation therapies for brain injuries. The “Brain Tumor” and “Brain Injury” Sections are dedicated to understanding the pathogenesis, treatment, diagnosis, and management of brain tumors and brain injuries.
