Advances in Bovine Anaplasmosis

Dear Colleagues,

Bovine anaplasmosis, primarily caused by Anaplasma marginale, poses significant challenges to cattle health and the livestock industry. Research in this field has evolved to address various aspects of the disease, including its etiology, epidemiology, diagnostics, treatment, prevention, and socio-economic impacts. Recent advances in the understanding, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of bovine anaplasmosis have contributed to better management practices.

Despite the progress made in the research in the field, there are key areas where action is needed. For this Special Issue, we welcome contributions of original articles, review papers, and communications, which will help enhance the understanding, prevention, and control of this disease, especially in vaccine development, understanding pathogenesis, diagnostics improvement, and vector control strategies.

Manuscript Submission Information

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Microorganisms is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
