Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Constipation is one of the most common gastrointestinal symptoms, which is experienced by close to 1 in 5 individuals. Chronic forms of this disease can lead to severe health impairment, decreased quality of life, and psychological distress. Effective management of constipation is dependent on determining its pathophysiology.

This Special Issue aims to provide an overview of the latest innovations and research in constipation diagnosis and management. Original research articles demonstrating innovative findings with the potential of enhancing the clinical capability of diagnosing and treating constipation among different patient groups are of particular interest. Submissions of high-interest review articles are also encouraged.
