Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Although the incidence of renal cancer is still rising worldwide, the mortality from renal cancer has been decreasing in recent years, mainly due to early detection and advances in the treatment of renal cancer. However, kidney cancer-specific mortality is still high, and all aspects of kidney cancer, namely, biology, pathophysiology, prevention and treatment, are still critical for continuing research.

The aim and scope of this Special Issue are to collect and summarize the recent evidence on the advancement in the treatment of renal cancer using surgical and non-surgical approaches. This Special Issue will consider a wide range of topics on renal cell carcinoma, including epidemiology, novel imaging and other diagnostic modalities, and basic science, translational and clinical studies, all with the aim to provide a platform for improving our abilities to treat renal cancer.
