D2: Operations Research and Fuzzy Decision Making

A section of Mathematics (ISSN 2227-7390).

Section Information

The sub-section “Operations Research and Fuzzy Decision Making” covers a full range of topics, perspectives, methodologies, and industry applications, including theory, practice, and computation in operations research to explore optimal or near-optimal solutions to decision making problems. Special emphasis is placed on the presentation of mathematical, statistical, and optimization methods for solving decision making problems, including mathematical programming, optimization methods, queueing theory, Markov decision processes, other stochastic models, etc.

This section welcomes research articles and review papers that present substantial theoretical discussions concerning the methodology of operations research and decision making, as well as descriptions of mathematical methods and the applications of these techniques to solving practical problems of economic and social natures.
