Material Processing Technology
A section of Machines (ISSN 2075-1702).
Section Information
The Material Processing Technology Section focuses on the design, development, and optimization of methods used to shape, form, and fabricate materials into functional components. This includes both conventional and emerging manufacturing techniques, with special attention given to the interplay between process parameters, material behavior, and product performance. The Section welcomes contributions that explore experimental, theoretical, and simulation-based approaches applied to machines, aimed at improving efficiency, precision, and sustainability in material processing. It also encourages interdisciplinary work that integrates new technologies—such as machine learning, robotics, and digital twins—into modern processing environments.
