10th Anniversary
The year 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of Machines, a peer-reviewed open-access journal on machinery and engineering. Machines has published more than 600 papers from more than 2000 authors, and more than 1500 reviewers have submitted at least one review report. We value the contributions made by authors and reviewers. To celebrate this 10th anniversary, we are arranging a series of special content and events. We hope you can join us in celebrating this milestone for our journal and enjoy the collection below.

The International Federation for the Promotion of Mechanism and Machine Science (IFToMM) becomes affiliated with Machines, and its members begin to receive a discount on the journal’s article processing charges.

Indexed by the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE—Web of Science).

Receives its new CiteScore of 3.2 for the year of 2019, ranking the journal 26/101 in the category of “Control and Optimization” and 92/340 in the category of “Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering”.

Machines receives its first Impact Factor of 2.428 for the year 2020.
