Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

As economies around the world work to achieve sustainable development and climate goals, integrating technological innovation into sustainable finance has become a crucial step in creating resilient financial systems. The goal of this Special Issue is to examine how innovative technologies—like blockchain, big data, fintech, and artificial intelligence—intersect with sustainable finance approaches that tackle social inequality, environmental degradation, and climate risk. The Issue aims to provide innovative models and tools that support a more sustainable and inclusive economic future by emphasizing how innovation can improve financial decision-making, transparency, and impact measurement.

The proposed collection will compile multidisciplinary contributions from scholars, business professionals, and legislators in order to answer the following important questions: How can the move to ESG-aligned investments be accelerated by digital transformation? How can developing nations' access to sustainable finance be enhanced by emerging technologies? How can innovation be used to foster long-term value creation and manage the financial risks associated with climate change? The Special Issue will provide a timely platform for knowledge advancement, policy formation, and responsible innovation guidance in the dynamic field of sustainable finance by tackling these and related issues. We welcome interdisciplinary perspectives on strategic management, operations management, international business, and organizational behavior.
