Upcoming Partner Conferences (2)

Beijing, China
The 25th International Conference on Environmental Indicators has been scheduled from 26 to 29 July 2026 in Beijing, China. This conference aims to create an interdisciplinary environment uniting a diverse field of environmental researchers, environmental managers and policymakers. This conference will highlight the environmental indicators for sustainable development and broaden our comprehensive understanding of indicator research and application in the world. The conference will create a holistic approach for better addressing the complex challenges facing our environment today. With participants hailing from across the world, this conference will provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and best practices in environmental indicator research, education, and application. The international collaboration is crucial for developing comprehensive solutions that are applicable across different cultural, economic, and geographical contexts. The conference will also expand our multifaceted perspectives on environmental indicator research and application by exploring a wide range of topics, ranging from indicators of traditional environmental quality and health to emerging issues, discussing the latest methodologies, technologies, and analytical tools that will shape the future of environmental sustainability.

Introduction:
This edition combines two well-established workshops into a single event.
On one side, we present the 22nd HRMS Workshop, focusing on the practical applications of high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) and tandem mass spectrometric techniques for the screening and quantification of organic contaminants in environmental and food samples.
On the other side, we feature the 7th ICRAPHE Conference, dedicated to exploring the fate, risk, and removal of pharmaceutical residues in the environment.
This joint workshop provides an informal and interactive platform for scientists from academia, governmental agencies, and industry to share their latest research findings, methods, and ideas in a collaborative environment. To further encourage participation, several awards will be presented for outstanding contributions, including prizes for the best oral communication, best poster, and best student presentation, supported by sponsors and scientific partners.
Further, we offer the possibility of publishing work presented at this workshop in the open access Journal of Xenobiotics (JoX) (IF 4.4, JCR Q1) as part of the Special Issue entitled: “Emerging Contaminants as Vectors of Global Change: Ecotoxicology, Bioaccumulation and Risk”
As in previous years, this workshop is jointly organized by IDAEA-CSIC (Barcelona, Spain), University of Almería, Académie nationale de Pharmacie, and the Royal Academy of Pharmacy of Catalonia.
Wishing you all a safe trip to Barcelona next November.
Prof. Dr. Damià Barceló
