Early-Career Women Award

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the JoF 2022 Early-Career Women Award is Dr. Johanna Rhodes.

Dr. Johanna Rhodes is a postdoctoral researcher at Radboud University Medical Center, The Netherlands, with an honorary position at Imperial College London, UK. Dr. Rhodes’ research centres of genomic epidemiology and antifungal drug resistance, with a focus on evolution and population genomics, particularly in Aspergillus fumigatus and Candida auris.

This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Johanna Rhodes for her outstanding achievements.

As the awardee, Dr. Johanna Rhodes will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before 31 December 2023 in JoF following peer-review, and an electronic certificate.
