Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming a key enabler for next-generation wireless communication systems. By learning complex channel characteristics, network dynamics, and user behaviors, AI can improve physical-layer transmission, radio resource management, network optimization, and service provisioning. However, its practical deployment still faces challenges related to data availability, generalization, computational complexity, interpretability, security, and real-time implementation. This Special Issue aims to present recent advances in AI for next-generation wireless communications. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: deep learning, deep unfolding, reinforcement learning, graph neural networks, federated learning, generative models, diffusion models, foundation models, and large language models for channel estimation, signal detection, beamforming, resource allocation, network optimization, semantic communications, integrated sensing and communication, massive access, edge intelligence, satellite communications, and the Internet of Things.
Original research articles, comprehensive reviews, and perspective papers are welcome. This Special Issue seeks to provide a timely forum for exchanging new ideas and promoting efficient, reliable, explainable, and deployable AI-enabled wireless communication technologies.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All submissions that pass pre-check are peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 250 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for assessment.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-anonymized peer-review process. Information is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
