Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Pathologic perturbations at the molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and/or organismal levels often drive disease manifestations. Therefore, molecular and cellular therapies have emerged as sophisticated approaches to the management of a large variety of diseases. This Special Issue, “Molecular and Cellular Therapies Barriers and Opportunities” will serve as a platform to facilitate community discussions on the barriers that limit widespread acceptance and use of molecular and cellular therapies. Unlocking the true therapeutic potential of such therapies requires overcoming current barriers/problems, leading to more realistic clinical expectations and true innovations. Therefore, this Special Issue welcomes original research articles, opinion articles, and comprehensive reviews related to problems/challenges, innovations, opportunities, and applications of molecular and/or cellular therapies from all disciplines.
