Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Despite significant advances in clinical dentistry, oral and periodontal diseases continue to pose a major public health challenge globally. Their high prevalence and profound impact on quality of life and systemic health demand effective, population-wide solutions. This Special Issue seeks to explore the broad spectrum of public health approaches designed to prevent, manage, and reduce the burden of these conditions.

We welcome submissions of original research, systematic reviews, and case studies that focus on population-level interventions. Key areas of interest include health promotion programs in schools and communities, policy-making for oral health, and strategies for integrating oral health services into existing primary care frameworks. We are also interested in research addressing health equity, focusing on reducing disparities in access to care and outcomes among underserved and marginalized populations.

This Issue will serve as a vital platform for sharing evidence-based strategies and innovative models of care that can be scaled to improve oral and periodontal health for all. We encourage contributions that critically evaluate current practices and propose forward-thinking solutions to shape a healthier future.
