Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue is designed to provide a broad focus regarding factors that can facilitate aspects of healthy ageing from early and mid-adulthood (ages 18 to 64 years) through to older adulthood (65 years and older). With a global increase in population ageing, there needs to be a sustained focus on how healthy ageing can be promoted throughout the lifespan. Modifiable lifestyle factors, such as regular physical activity, diet/nutritional factors, healthy sleep, stress management, social factors, the built environment, and financial stability, as well as an overall focus on chronic disease prevention and management. This also includes the role of primary healthcare and specialist services. We are also interested in the role that traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine (TCIM) modalities can play in supporting healthy ageing. Manuscripts addressing these various topics from a range of different disciplines are invited for this Special Issue of the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (IJERPH).
