Meet Us at the 2026 Oral History Association (OHA) Annual Meeting, 14–17 October 2026, Portland, USA

MDPI will attend the 2026 Oral History Association (OHA) Annual Meeting, which will be taking place from 14 to 17 October 2026, at the Hilton Portland Downtown, in Portland, Oregon, USA.

The OHA Annual Meeting brings together scholars, practitioners, archivists, educators, and community advocates to share knowledge, foster collaborations, and address critical issues in memory, narrative, and historical practice. As described by the OHA, the annual meeting attracts a broad range of people and features the best works in the field.

The theme of OHA 2026, “Landscapes of Memory”, highlights the profound relationships between people and the places they inhabit, traverse, defend, or are forced to leave behind. It emphasizes the dynamic interplay between memory, environment, and movement across shifting political, cultural, and ecological boundaries, calling for innovative approaches and inclusive dialogues that advance oral history worldwide.

Join us in Portland and be part of shaping the future of oral history!
