Special Issue "Selected Papers from the 1st International Electronic Conference – Futuristic Applications on Electronics"
A special issue of Electronics (ISSN 2079-9292).
Deadline for manuscript submissions: 31 July 2021.
Interests: circuits and systems theory; analog circuits; nonlinear circuits; EMC; switching circuits; signal and power integrity; cables and interconnects; high frequency electronics; microwave circuits; signal analysis; deep learning; design for reliability; power system modeling
This Special Issue comprises selected papers from the Proceedings of the 1st International Electronic Conference—Futuristic Applications on Electronics (ECFAE2020), held on 1–30 November 2020 on sciforum.net, an online platform for hosting scholarly e-conferences and discussion groups.
This conference aims to provide leading scientists working in the broad field of electronics with a robust common platform in which to share and discuss the latest research and to promote advancement of this exciting and rapidly changing field. We would like to encourage submissions about current and emerging technologies, focused on the theoretical, simulation, and experimental aspects of electronics. The following broad themes will be covered:
- New engineering developments related to the heterogeneous integration of wireless and mixed signal devices, bio-chips, power devices, optoelectronics, and microelectromechanical systems;
- Future applications of electronic circuits and systems with special emphasis on food and agriculture, healthcare, mobility and smart cities, and sustainable energy;
- The fundamental classical theory and the Artificial Intelligence models supporting the emerging technologies.
Selected papers that have attracted the most interest on the web or that provide a particularly innovative contribution have been gathered for publication. These papers have been subjected to peer review and are published with the aim of a rapid and wide dissemination of research results, developments, and applications. We hope this Conference Series will grow rapidly in the future and become recognized as a new way and venue by which to present new developments related to the field of electronics and applications.

Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Electronics is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
Please visit the Instructions for Authors page before submitting a manuscript. The Article Processing Charge (APC) for publication in this open access journal is 1800 CHF (Swiss Francs). Submitted papers should be well formatted and use good English. Authors may use MDPI's English editing service prior to publication or during author revisions.
