The Biodiversity Information Standards (TDWG) Executive Committee is pleased to announce that the 2012 TDWG annual conference will be held on October 22-26, 2012 at the China People’s Palace in Beijing, China. Professor Keping Ma, Deputy Director, Biodiversity Committee, Chinese Academy of Sciences is Chair of the Local Organizing Committee; Yinan Liu, Deputy Director of the Office of the Biodiversity Committee, Chinese Academy of Sciences is the Meeting Manager and Rusty Russell, Collections Manager at the National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, is Chair of the Program Committee.
