VI LATIN AMERICAN CONGRESS OF ARACHNOLOGY
Taking into account the current COVID-19 situation in Latin America, and that it is still not clear when the conditions necessary to organize an international congress will be restored, and after listening to the opinions of many colleagues in our community, we have decided to organize the next Latin American Congress of Arachnology as a virtual participation event, maintaining the original dates.
We are aware that a congress of this form is more limited than a face-to-face event, but it seems to us the only way to ensure the congress takes place under the current circumstances. On a positive side, it will be a much cheaper event and will provide ample opportunities for participation and presentations.
The sessions will take place on the original dates, between Monday the 14th of December and Friday the 18th of December, with participation via Zoom. We will have spaces for master conferences, symposiums, oral and poster presentations. We will also have photography and illustration contests, and social events.
