Editor of Distinction Award
The success and esteemed reputation of Disabilities are due in large part to the dedication of the Editorial Board Members. The Editorial Office deeply appreciates the hard work and commitment of our editors. The Disabilities Editor of Distinction Award is presented annually to acknowledge Editorial Board Members’ exceptional contributions in maintaining the journal’s high international standards. This award honors two Editorial Board Members every year, and the winners are announced by the end of April next year.
An evaluation committee, led by the journal’s Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Reinie Cordier, is responsible for selecting the winners based on their activities and contributions to the successful development and maintenance of high-quality standards throughout the year.
Prizes:
- CHF 500;
- An electronic certificate.

Eligibility for the Award
– All Editorial Board Members, excluding the Editor-in-Chief and Section Editor-in-Chief;
– Contributions in 2026 qualify Editorial Board Members for the award.
