2021	The inaugural issue was released. Disabilities was published as a quarterly journal.
2023	Disabilities was indexed in DOAJ, starting with Volume 3 (Issue 1). Disabilities was indexed in Scopus (Elsevier), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1).
2024	Disabilities was indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)—Web of Science (Clarivate Analytics), starting with Volume 1 (Issue 1). Disabilities received its first CiteScore (2023) of 1.1.
2025	Disabilities received its first Impact Factor (1.4). The CiteScore increased to 1.9.
