Young Investigator Award

Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Chemosensors 2021 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Mindy Levine.

Dr. Levine is an Associate Professor of the Department of Chemical Sciences, Ariel University, Ariel, Israel. Since her independent career began in 2010, she has served in multiple leadership roles directed toward encouraging and promoting female and minority chemists. She is focused on supramolecular chemistry, sensing, and analytical chemistry. In particular, Dr. Levine’s research centers on developing new technologies to sense and detect contaminants and pollutants; from pesticides and environmental pollutants to pharmaceuticals and their metabolites, to contaminants in a broad range of consumer products, such as beauty and wellness products or e-cigarettes.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Levine for her outstanding achievements.

As the awardee, Dr. Levine will receive an honorarium of 2000 CHF, an offer to publish a paper free of charge before the end of 31 July 2022 in Chemosensors after peer review, and an engraved plaque.

We would like to thank all the nominators from various fields of study for their participation and all the Award Committee Members for their evaluation of the many excellent nominations.
