Young Investigator Award
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Biosensors 2020 Young Investigator Award is Dr. Run Zhang.
Dr. Zhang is an NHMRC Emerging Leadership Fellow at the University of Queensland. Dr. Zhang’s research interests are biosensors, bionanoprobes, chemosensors, bioimaging, theranostic nanomaterials, and bio-/nanointerface.
Dr. Zhang received his Ph.D. in 2012 and has an outstanding publication record, comprising over 100 publications in peer-reviewed international journals and one international patent. Dr. Zhang’s Scopus Scientific Citations number is 3230 and his Hirsch index is 31. He is clearly a rising star in the field of biosensors. As a single applicant, Dr. Zhang has secured over AUD 2 million since 2011. This is an outstanding achievement in today’s competitive environment. Please join us in congratulating Dr. Zhang for his outstanding achievements.
As the awardee, Dr. Zhang will receive an honorarium of CHF 2000, an offer to publish a paper free of charge in Biosensors after peer-review before the end of 2021, as well as an engraved plaque.
