Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Prostate cancer is still a great challenge worldwide. Fundamental advances have been made in this cancer in recent years. New molecular events, new imaging technologies, novel drugs, and new diagnostic and treatment strategies are emerging in this field. This Special Issue of Biomedicines focuses on recent advances in the understanding of the molecular events underlying prostate cancer, imaging of prostate cancer, prostate biopsy decisions, and the clinical treatment of prostate cancer. Treatment resistance, neuroendocrinal progression, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy are also discussed. The goal of this Special Issue is to stimulate research and clinical interest in this exciting field. In particular, we hope this Special Issue will improve our understanding of this malignant disease, and encourage physicians, urologists, and medical oncologists to share clinical decisions and improve treatment outcomes in patients with prostate cancer.

Benefits of Publishing in a Special Issue

  • Ease of navigation: Grouping papers by topic helps scholars navigate broad scope journals more efficiently.
  • Greater discoverability: Special Issues support the reach and impact of scientific research. Articles in Special Issues are more discoverable and cited more frequently.
  • Expansion of research network: Special Issues facilitate connections among authors, fostering scientific collaborations.
  • External promotion: Articles in Special Issues are often promoted through the journal's social media, increasing their visibility.
  • e-Book format: Special Issues with more than 10 articles can be published as dedicated e-books, ensuring wide and rapid dissemination.
