Dear Colleagues,
Gynecological malignancies remain a major cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality among women worldwide. Recent advances in molecular biology, genomics, biomarker discovery, precision medicine, and regenerative approaches are transforming the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of these diseases. This Special Issue aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for high-quality original research and comprehensive reviews addressing the molecular mechanisms underlying gynecological cancers and their clinical translation. Topics of interest include tumor biology, genomic and epigenetic alterations, biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment response, targeted therapies, immunotherapy, minimally invasive surgical innovations, lymphatic mapping, cancer survivorship, regenerative medicine, cell-based therapies, tissue engineering, translational research, patient-derived models, precision disease modeling, and advanced preclinical platforms for therapeutic development. Studies integrating emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, multi-omics, and personalized therapeutic strategies are also encouraged. By bringing together basic, translational, and clinical research, this Special Issue seeks to advance precision oncology and regenerative medicine, ultimately contributing to improved prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life for patients with gynecological malignancies.
