Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Our understanding regarding conditions of anxiety in youth has vastly increased over the past few decades. However, understudied areas and fields of study in need of increased multidisciplinary investigation remain, serving as the impetus and focus for this Special Issue. Submissions, which explore youth anxiety disorders from a multidisciplinary perspective and explore linkage areas including, but not limited to, personality traits, developmental status (especially in children under the age of 5), sexual orientation, substance use/abuse, self-harming, trauma, and emerging treatment modalities demonstrating a multidisciplinary approach, are sought. In keeping with the journal’s overall integrative perspective, submissions from a variety of disciplines—psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, behavioral biology, and behavioral genetics—are invited. This Special Issue also encourages submissions of brief reports and case studies.
