Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Teen dating violence (TDV) is a pervasive public health concern with long-term consequences for teens’ physical and mental health, academic performance, and harmful relationship patterns. Despite its prevalence and negative outcomes, there are still aspects of TDV that remain relatively understudied. This Special Issue aims to advance this field by addressing research gaps, as well as highlighting innovative strategies, evidence-based programs, and policy initiatives that promote prevention efforts and healthy relationships among the youth. Studies that broaden our understanding of underrepresented populations and the varied forms of TDV are especially encouraged. Ultimately, this Special Issue will serve as a resource for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to promote healthy relationships and reduce TDV.

Kind regards,

Prof. Dr. Michelle Toews
Guest Editor
