Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
In this era of mobile Internet popularization and the emergence of generative AI, the impact of online networks has penetrated into all aspects of people's lives, thus affecting people's information processing, thinking, and problem solving processes. Consequently, human psychological activities in the context of the Internet era have become a hot topic widely discussed by psychologists in recent years. Given this background, this Special Issue focuses on the psychological processes of creativity and online behavior in the Internet era. Through this Special Issue, we will endeavor to better answer the following questions: In the Internet age, how do people create online? How does the use of the Internet affect people's creative activities? What are the cognitive and emotional processes behind online creativity?
In order to answer the questions above, we welcome manuscripts from the following fields (but not limited to these):
- The cognitive activity processes of creating or innovating in online form;
- The emotional process of creating or innovating in online form;
- The psychological process of creation supported by network resources;
- The use and creativity of artificial intelligence or big language models;
- The relationship between online socializing and creativity;
- The relationship between online learning and creativity;
- The creative psychological processes related to other online usage behaviors.
We welcome research from psychology, artificial intelligence, and other related disciplines.
