32nd Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions of the Society of Behavioral Medicine
We are very pleased to invite you to attend the 32nd Annual Meeting & Scientific Sessions of the Society of Behavioral Medicine (SBM). The 32nd Annual Meeting will be held in Washington, D.C., from April 27-30, 2011. Our theme is "Behavioral Medicine: Accelerating our Impact on the Public's Health." It is fitting that we will return to D.C. for the 2011 Meeting. Our presence there will allow us to explore the myriad opportunities for behavioral medicine in our changing healthcare environment.
We are extremely excited about the 2011 Annual Meeting program, which will feature the latest basic, intervention, and translational behavioral medicine research findings. The Program Committee is working diligently to secure speakers that reflect our theme and the diverse interests of our membership. We have an excellent venue in the Washington Hilton, which is just a stone's throw from the White House and several blocks away from the great shops, restaurants, and nightlife of Dupont Circle.
Of course, the success of the Annual Meeting depends largely on you! We hope that you will consider submitting your strongest work for presentation and that you will encourage your colleagues to do the same.
