Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

Two-dimensional (2D) nanomaterials have emerged as transformative building blocks for the development of next-generation electronic devices, offering exceptional properties such as high carrier mobility, tunable band gaps, mechanical flexibility, and large surface-to-volume ratios. These unique features make them promising for applications spanning from high-performance transistors, sensors, and energy harvesting systems to flexible and wearable electronics. This Special Issue aims to bring together recent advances in the rational design, scalable fabrication, and innovative integration of 2D nanomaterials toward practical device applications. Emphasis will be placed on bridging fundamental materials research with device engineering, highlighting challenges and future opportunities in realizing sustainable, multifunctional, and intelligent electronic technologies.

Manuscript Submission Information

Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.

Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
