Dear Colleagues,
The rapid evolution of multimedia technologies, immersive applications, and high-speed networks has fundamentally reshaped how users consume content and interact with digital services. From video streaming and conferencing to 360° video and augmented/virtual reality (AR/VR), user expectations are at an all-time high. As such, Quality of Experience (QoE) has emerged as a critical metric for assessing user satisfaction, guiding system optimization, and ensuring service differentiation.
This Special Issue seeks original research, visionary ideas, and practical solutions that advance the state-of-the-art in QoE modeling, measurement, prediction, and optimization across a wide range of next-generation applications and systems. We particularly welcome interdisciplinary works that bridge technical performance with human perception and usability.

For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a single-blind peer-review process. Applied Sciences is an international peer-reviewed open access semimonthly journal published by MDPI.
