Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
Fish nutrition and feeding are crucial aspects to consider in optimizing aquaculture production. Advances in techniques, technologies, nutritional adjuvants, formulations, processing, and new ingredients facilitate the transition of the aquaculture sector toward more ecologically, economically, and biologically sustainable production, taking into account not only production systems but also their surrounding areas and stakeholders. The objective of this Special Issue is to present advances in feeding techniques and technologies, as well as in supplements, adjuvants, and ingredients, that enable the development of bioeconomically functional feeds that meet the current ecological, biological, and productive needs of the aquaculture sector. It seeks papers that explore innovative feeding techniques and technologies, such as biofloc, that have positive impacts on production systems, pre- and probiotics, ingredient processing, and new ingredients to enhance fish farming.
