Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

This Special Issue, “Advances in Companion Animal Gastroenterology”, highlights current progress in the understanding, diagnosis, and management of digestive system disorders in dogs and cats. The Special Issue welcomes original research articles and reviews focusing on gastrointestinal, hepatic, and exocrine pancreatic diseases, including studies on disease mechanisms, diagnostics, and therapeutic strategies.

By emphasizing developments across these interconnected organ systems, this collection aims to advance clinical knowledge and promote evidence-based approaches to digestive health in companion animals. The papers featured will build upon the existing literature by presenting recent findings and expert perspectives that inform both clinical practice and future research priorities in small animal gastroenterology.
