Special Issue Information

Dear Colleagues,

The occurrence of the West Nile virus, severe acute respiratory syndrome, monkeypox, bovine spongiform encephalopathy, and other recent zoonotic events have identified the critical need for a new strategic partnership and relationship between the public and animal health communities. Worldwide animal disease prevention and control activities are of high importance, and veterinary diagnostics is a key tool in the prevention and control of diseases in animals. The purpose of this Special Issue is to publish original research papers, case studies, and review articles focusing on the latest advances in the prevention of health disorders in domestic animals and new diagnostic tool areas.
