Our journals listed in the Clarivate Analytics Journal Citation Reports received their Impact Factor for 2016. We are happy to wrap up the facts for you:
- 78% of MDPI journals in SCIE have seen an increase in Impact Factor.
- 10 journals received a 2016 Impact Factor above 3.000.
- 17 journals now have an Impact Factor above 2.000.
- Total citations in 2016 picked up by 51% compared to the previous year.
- 23 out of 28 MDPI journals with an Impact Factor rank in Q2 in at least one subject category.
- 8 journals rank in the first quartile (Q1) in at least one of the JCR categories.
- According to data published in the 2016 edition of the Journal Citation Reports, MDPI journals have been cited a total of 150,000 times in Web of Science.
