Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The authors presented an excellent work related to the use of slender fibers for Turbulence modulation. The studied configuration is innovative, and the paper is generally well prepared and can be accepted after minor revision:

Is a random dispersion of the fibers is used?

The numerical method is to be detailed.

The results of the validation and the grid refinement are to be presented.

A figure presenting the used grid is to be added.

It will be interesting to present the streamlines

A nomenclature is to be added.

The slight comment can be addressed

1- Equations (1a) and (1b) have reference. if have references please insert them.

2- Please add the simulation characteristics.

3- it is better to add a diagram for the method of study.

4- Please redrew table 1 to be clear.

5- separate discussion and conclusion.
