The review by Prof. Dayan reports on the recent characterization of new herbicide target sites, and chemical classes developed in order to inhibit these sites. The rationale for review is clear, the title clearly reflect the content and the abstract is sufficiently informative, the introduction has appropriate background and the objectives are clearly described.
On the whole this manuscript is clearly presented and logical as the author has a consolidate experience in this field; and I was unable to detect any significant deficiency. I only would recommend to the author to re-read carefully the manuscript in order to check for a few minor formatting mistakes.
