Comments and Suggestions for Authors

As the authors have acknowledged, this study is underpowered and retrospective, lacks a control group. No significant conclusions could be drawn about atrial fib progression due to lack of controls. Lead dislodgement was not recorded, the duration or length of leads in place was not mentioned (older leads are harder to dislodge). Prospective studies or larger data sets would be helpful to assess these same clinical questions.

Author Response

We agree, our study have several limitations and potential bias cannot be excluded. Therefore, we stated that larger, prospective studies are warranted to confirm our findings.
