The journal retracts the article titled, “Thermoenergetic Performance of Phase Change Materials in Building Envelopes under Future Climate Scenarios” [1], cited above.
Following publication, concerns were brought to the publisher’s attention regarding an overlap with a graduation thesis [2] and unpublished material produced by a different authorship group.
Adhering to our complaint’s procedure, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office and Editorial Board which confirmed the presence of extensive overlaps with the above-mentioned sources. As a result, the Editorial Board has decided to retract this article as per MDPI’s retraction policy (https://www.mdpi.com/ethics#_bookmark30).
This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Applied Sciences. All authors agreed to this retraction.
