Round 1

Reviewer 1 Report

The article should be corrected before publication because it contains errors and many unexplained issues.

Please provide and describe the soil models used in calculations in the plaxis program. As for the boundary conditions, Figure 11 shows that sufficient boundary conditions were not maintained.

Please describe the ground conditions in detail. The presented soil conditions are described generally and it is difficult to deduce from them what the substrate is. Is there a problem with groundwater? On what basis were soil parameters determined, were any ground tests performed?

Please explain what is in Figures 11 and 12. These drawings are illegible, these are copies of the screen, not scientific drawings.

Please explain why only 30, 60 and 90 ° angles were considered. Why are the others not included?

Please harmonize the font used in the symbols in the table?

Why cohesion for soft soil is 0.3. in this case angle fo friction is 33 so it is sand no soft soil ....

Specific errors:

Figure 1 - illegible

Table 1 - why the word "Amount" is crossed out ?

Table 2 - "Soil moisture" is not correct. Should be "water content"

Table 3 - symbol of water content should be "w"

Table 3 - no synbol for elastic modulus

Figures 11, 12 - illegible. Should be only model not the whole screen
