The authors investigated about the association between malnutrition (undernutrition and obesity) and severe acute pancreatitis in hospitalized children and adolescents.

The rational behind the study was clear and straight forward. The manuscript is almost well written.

The introduction section is quite short, authors should elaborate on the introduction better.

We thank the reviewers for their valuable feedback and taking time to review our research work.

We have added more information with supporting references to highlight the importance of evaluating the nutritional status and its impact on clinical outcomes in children.
