Dear Colleagues,

The Internet of Everything connects people, devices, data, services, and decision-making systems, thus becoming an important part of different applications such as smart cities, healthcare, transportation, public safety, smart homes, energy systems, and industrial services. These systems collect and share large amounts of data every day, including personal, sensitive, or location-based information. If it is not properly managed, it can create privacy, security, ethical, and trust-related problems.

This Topic focuses on data governance and privacy protection in Internet of Everything systems. It welcomes research on secure data collection, data sharing, consent management, access control, data ownership, privacy-preserving machine learning, federated learning, blockchain-based governance, anonymization, differential privacy, edge/fog/cloud security, and responsible AI-enabled data use. It also seeks review papers, practical frameworks, policy studies, and real-world case studies.

The goal of this topic is to bring together researchers and practitioners working on trustworthy, secure, and privacy-aware Internet of Everything systems.
