This study addresses critical safety challenges in sustainable urban mobility by developing a probabilistic framework for lane-change risk prediction on congested expressways. Utilizing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-captured trajectory data from 784 validated lane-change events, we construct a Bayesian network model integrated with an I-CH scoring-enhanced MMHC algorithm. This approach quantifies risk probabilities while accounting for driver decision dynamics and input data uncertainties—key gaps in conventional methods like time-to-collision metrics. Validation via the Asia network paradigm demonstrates 80.5% reliability in forecasting high-risk maneuvers. Crucially, we identify two sustainability-oriented operational thresholds: (1) optimal lane-change success occurs when trailing-vehicle speeds in target lanes are maintained at 1.0–3.0 m/s (following-gap < 4.0 m) or 3.0–6.0 m/s (gap ≥ 4.0 m), and (2) insertion-angle change rates exceeding 3.0°/unit-time significantly elevate transition probability. These evidence-based parameters enable traffic management systems to proactively mitigate collision risks by 13.26% while optimizing flow continuity. By converting behavioral insights into adaptive control strategies, this research advances resilient transportation infrastructure and low-carbon mobility through congestion reduction. Full article

The development of the Great Wall National Cultural Park has unleashed the potential for integrating cultural and tourism development along the Great Wall. However, ICH along the Great Wall, a key part of its cultural identity, suffers from low recognition and a mismatch between protection and development efforts. This study analyzes provincial-level and above ICH along Hebei’s Great Wall using geospatial tools and the Geographical Detector model to explore distribution patterns and influencing factors, while Geographically Weighted Regression is utilized to reveal spatial heterogeneity. It tests two hypotheses: (H1) ICH shows a clustered pattern; (H2) economic factors have a greater impact than cultural and natural factors. Key findings show: (1) ICH distribution is numerically balanced north–south but spatially uneven, with dense clusters in the south and scattered patterns in the north. (2) ICH and crafts cluster significantly, while dramatic balladry spreads evenly, and other categories are random. (3) Average annual temperature and precipitation have the greatest impact on ICH distribution, with the factors ranked as: natural > cultural > economic. Multidimensional interactions show significant enhancement effects. (4) Influencing factors vary spatially. Population density, transport, temperature, and traditional villages are positively related to ICH. Elevation, precipitation, tourism, and cultural institutions show mixed effects across regions. These insights support targeted ICH conservation and sustainable development in the Great Wall cultural corridor. Full article

This study explores the evolution of China’s intangible cultural heritage (ICH) governance through the lens of discursive institutionalism, with a specific focus on how institutional discourse and arrangements shape the spatial configuration and symbolic meaning of ICH-related landscapes. By analyzing policy discourse, governance actors, resource mobilization, and regulatory mechanisms, the study traces the transition from community-led practices to increasingly formalized and spatialized systems under the influence of the 2003 UNESCO Convention. Drawing on a combination of historical policy analysis and place-specific institutional insights, the research finds that while institutional reforms have enhanced administrative coherence and international alignment, they have also at times disrupted vernacular meanings and weakened residents’ place-based cultural attachments. Conversely, localized revitalization initiatives can foster community resilience and landscape justice. These findings are derived from an interpretive synthesis of institutional trajectories and spatial governance practices. Overall, the study contributes to the theoretical integration of discursive institutionalism and cultural geography, offering new insights into heritage governance and sustainable cultural planning in rapidly urbanizing contexts. Traditional villages (TVs) and intangible cultural heritage (ICH) serve as dual carriers for the living transmission of agrarian civilization, with their spatial compatibility being crucial for the sustainable development of cultural ecosystems. Existing research shows deficiencies in quantitative analysis, multidimensional driving mechanism interpretation, and spatial heterogeneity identification. This study establishes a three-phase framework (“spatial pattern identification–spatial relationship analysis–impact mechanism assessment”) using nationwide data encompassing 8155 TVs and 3587 ICH elements. Through the comprehensive application of the spatial mismatch index, Optimal-Parameter Geographic Detector (OPGD), and multiscale geographically weighted regression (MGWR) model, we systematically reveal their spatial differentiation patterns and driving mechanisms. Key findings: First, TVs exhibit a “three-primary-core and two-secondary-core” strong agglomeration pattern, while ICH shows multi-center balanced distribution. Significant positive spatial correlation coexists with prevalent mismatch: 65% of China’s territory displays positive mismatch (ICH dominance) and 35% displays negative mismatch (TV dominance). Second, the spatial mismatch mechanism follows a “weakened natural foundation with dual drivers of socio-economic dynamics and cultural policy momentum”, where the GDP, tertiary industry ratio, general public budget expenditure, number of ICH inheritors, museums, and key cultural relic protection units emerge as dominant factors. Third, core drivers demonstrate significant spatial heterogeneity, with economic factors showing differentiated regulation while cultural policy elements exhibit distinct regional dependency. The proposed “economy–culture” dual governance approach, featuring cross-scale analysis methods and three-dimensional indicator system innovation, holds practical value for optimizing cultural heritage spatial governance paradigms. Background/Objectives: Quality by Design (QbD) has revolutionized pharmaceutical development by transitioning from reactive quality testing to proactive, science-driven methodologies. Rooted in ICH Q8–Q11 guidelines, QbD emphasizes defining Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs), establishing design spaces, and integrating risk management to enhance product robustness and regulatory flexibility. This review critically examines QbD’s theoretical frameworks, implementation workflows, and industrial applications, aiming to bridge academic research and commercial practices while addressing emerging challenges in biologics, advanced therapies, and personalized medicine. Methods: The review synthesizes regulatory guidelines, case studies, and multidisciplinary tools, including Design of Experiments (DoE), Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), Process Analytical Technology (PAT), and multivariate modeling. It evaluates QbD workflows—from Quality Target Product Profile (QTPP) definition to control strategies—and explores advanced technologies like AI-driven predictive modeling, digital twins, and continuous manufacturing. Results: QbD implementation reduces batch failures by 40%, optimizes dissolution profiles, and enhances process robustness through real-time monitoring (PAT) and adaptive control. However, technical barriers, such as nonlinear parameter interactions in complex systems, and regulatory disparities between agencies hinder broader adoption. Conclusions: QbD significantly advances pharmaceutical quality and efficiency, yet requires harmonized regulatory standards, lifecycle validation protocols, and cultural shifts toward interdisciplinary collaboration. Emerging trends, including AI-integrated design space exploration and 3D-printed personalized medicines, promise to address scalability and patient-centric needs. By fostering innovation and compliance, QbD remains pivotal in achieving sustainable, patient-focused drug development. Full article

In the current study, the Prussian blue analog decorated with zinc oxide (PBA@ZnO) was produced using a simple chemical co-precipitation method. The nanohybrid was examined using XRD, EDX, SEM, and TEM techniques, where it exhibited a polycrystalline structure with highly intense broadening peaks. The surface morphology was observed as thin nanosheets decorated with tiny spheres. Following excitation at 360 nm, the fluorescence spectra of PBA@ZnO showed fluorescence emission at 455 nm. The developed PBA@ZnO was used to qualitatively and quantitatively assess sunset yellow (SY), where its native fluorescence was selectively quenched as SY concentrations increased. For the first time, PBA@ZnO was used as a turn-off nano-sensor for the spectrofluorimetric measurement of SY. The method’s markable sensitivity was demonstrated within an SY linearity range of 50–500 ng/mL, where the limit of detection was calculated as 9.77 ng/mL. Real sample analysis in the food industry, including samples from real food, soft drinks, and sun cream, was made possible by the detection of tiny amounts of SY. Analytical Greenness (AGREE), AGREEprep, and the complementing Green Analytical Procedure Index (Complex MoGAPI) were used to illustrate the new approach’s exceptional eco-friendliness and greenness. The RGB 12 algorithm worked to demonstrate that the suggested approach is less costly, more environmentally friendly, more sustainable, analytically sound, and whiter than the ones that were previously published. In accordance with ICH principles, the suggested method was validated. This approach offers a promising way to rapidly and accurately identify and measure SY in the food industry, helping to guarantee food safety and maintain the health of customers. Full article

With the Republic of Türkiye signing the “Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage” in 2006, awareness and sensitivity towards the safeguarding of cultural heritage has also begun to develop in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), which has close relations with the Republic of Türkiye. However, the intangible cultural heritage convention could not be signed in the TRNC due to political reasons, and this has led to a lack of sufficient change and awareness about it on the island. Regrettably, the limited number of academic studies carried out in universities in this field has proven to be inadequate in terms of creating general public awareness about the subject. However, the knowledge and experience of both the community and individuals working in this field are crucial for the safeguarding and sustainability of cultural heritage elements. In this context, this study collected the knowledge and opinions of personnel affiliated with the TRNC Ministry of Culture on the subject of intangible cultural heritage (ICH), and it investigated whether the adequacy of the personnel’s knowledge and opinions around cultural heritage had a direct impact on its safeguarding and sustainability. This research used a type of mixed method called “Convergent Mixed-Methods Design”. The sample of this research consisted of 30 personnel working in different units affiliated with the Ministry of Culture in Northern Cyprus. This study included personnel working in different units and positions affiliated with the ministry. An interview form was used to obtain the data that formed the basis of this research. The interview form consisted of 10 structured and 3 semi-structured questions prepared by the researchers. Descriptive statistics were used in the analysis of the quantitative data, and content analysis was used in the analysis of the qualitative data. This study, which aimed to determine the knowledge and opinions of Ministry of Culture officials working in the TRNC regarding the safeguarding and transfer of intangible cultural heritage elements, revealed that the employees were not fully informed about the scope, objectives, and protection of ICH. Quality risk management, commonly known as QRM, is designed to systematically assess, control, communicate, and review potential risks at every stage of the pharmaceutical manufacturing process. The preservation of consistent product quality across the entirety of the product’s life cycle is of paramount importance. The aim of this article is to formulate a best practice guide that will assist pharmaceutical manufacturers in comprehending and implementing the International Council for Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) Q9: quality risk management principles. A widely recognized methodology for defining and monitoring risk mitigation strategies within the pharmaceutical sector is the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). ICH Q9 does not, however, offer detailed instructions for applying FMEA to real-world pharmaceutical situations. We previously provided real-world case studies that identify and mitigate risks in the early stages of the manufacturing process of sterile products, such as (1) supply chain and procurement; (2) logistics and warehousing; (3) raw material dispensing; (4) glass bottle washing and handling; (5) product filling; and (6) final product receiving and handling. The final steps of the sterile manufacturing process are the subject of the case study we present in this paper. We identify and control the risks related to (I) product sterilization; (II) product inspection, labeling, and packaging; (III) the finished product’s transfer to storage; and (IV) storing finished products in a warehouse. In order to maximize decision-making and reduce the risk of regulatory noncompliance, this case study describes a proactive strategy for the identification, management, and communication of risks associated with crucial tasks. While each organization’s products and methods are distinct, with varying tolerances for risk, certain stages and associated risks are common. Consequently, the examples provided here offer relevant insights into any pharmaceutical production environment. Managing sustainability-related risks and ensuring the transparency of pharmaceutical company operations are key tasks of success today. These risks, if not managed, will cause serious problems and a negative reputation, as well as environmental and public impact. Full article

Currently, the digitization of heritage has become a research hotspot, but there remain gaps in evaluating the effectiveness of its digital dissemination. This qualitative study explores the indicators influencing the effectiveness of digital dissemination of intangible cultural heritage (ICH), with a special focus on Shu brocade weaving techniques, which is the national ICH item of China and has a high cultural, economic, and artistic value. Original data for this study was collected through semi-structured interviews with the most representative stakeholders. Based on the grounded theory, interviews were further analyzed through NVivo software 14, and 30 indicators were identified. The results of this study reveal the importance of indicators related to the authenticity and integrity of cultural connotations as well as the transmission of traditional skills, especially through stakeholder participation, in the digital dissemination of ICH. This study emphasizes the significance of improving the effectiveness of digital dissemination for the sustainable development of ICH and the preservation of precious culture for future generations. As cultural heritage carriers, traditional architectural decorative techniques face substantial adaptation challenges in contemporary society. Chaozhou Inlaid Porcelain, a nationally recognized intangible cultural heritage (ICH) of China, integrates artistic value with functional adaptability. However, its sustainability is undermined by high production costs, limited market demand, and weakening intergenerational transmission. Based on dynamic adaptation theory, this study systematically explores the inheritance and innovative evolution of Inlaid Porcelain. It aims to examine the feasibility of adapting the craft to modern societal needs and provides theoretical and practical references for the sustainable development of ICH. Employing a mixed-method approach, this study integrates SWOT analysis and case studies to delineate the dynamic adaptation pathways of Inlaid Porcelain across technological advancement, functional development, market positioning, education, and dissemination. The results suggest that Inlaid Porcelain possesses strong potential to meet modern aesthetic and functional expectations. This study highlights that ICH crafts can enhance cultural, economic, and social benefits by expanding their functions and adopting market-driven approaches. Yet, limited societal recognition and public engagement constrain its dynamic adaptation. This study proposes a systematic feedback mechanism integrating policy, market, and heritage transmission to enhance adaptive development. Furthermore, by developing a dynamic adaptation model, this research offers a practical framework for safeguarding and revitalizing traditional crafts, ultimately supporting the sustainable integration of cultural, economic, and social development. The current research article focuses on safeguarding the knotted carpet weaving tradition in Guano, an endangered intangible cultural heritage (ICH) threatened by globalisation and a lack of intergenerational transmission. The research aims to revitalise this artisanal technique through a comprehensive safeguarding plan, using a participatory action research approach. Activities included in-depth interviews, workshops, and the documentation of seven key cultural practises related to the weaving, such as spinning, natural dyeing, and design. The study found that 86% of these practises are highly vulnerable. To address this, the research developed strategies to promote generational transmission, strengthen local collaboration, and connect the craft to territorial identity and sustainable tourism. Proposed actions include intergenerational education programmes, tourism initiatives, and local fairs to boost carpet marketing. The study contributes to the field of ICH by highlighting the role of cultural tourism in preserving at-risk artisanal techniques and community identity. It emphasizes the need for collaborative approaches to safeguard living heritage in a globalized world. The research findings underscore the importance of integrating traditional practices into modern contexts to ensure their long-term sustainability. Full article

Guided by emotional design theory, the framework assesses aesthetic, functional, and emotional dimensions through hierarchical analysis. Using the Delphi method and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), primary and secondary indicators were identified and weighted based on expert consensus. AIGC technology, underpinned by advanced AI algorithms, generates culturally authentic yet innovative design solutions, striking a balance between tradition and modernity. The findings reveal that this approach enhances design diversity, functionality, and efficiency while fostering global cultural awareness. By providing practical guidance for integrating AIGC technology into traditional craftsmanship, the research offers a replicable model for other traditional crafts and contributes to the theoretical advancement of sustainable cultural heritage practices. By bridging the gap between digital innovation and heritage preservation, this study addresses the critical need for sustainable strategies in the creative industries. Full article

The sustainable development of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) faces multiple challenges, including societal structural transformations, intergenerational transmission gaps, and the loss of cultural memory. The rapid advancement of generative artificial intelligence (AI) technologies offers new possibilities for the digital preservation and innovation of ICH. This study leverages generative AI to develop a LoRA model embodying the Blue Clamp-Resist Dyeing style, enabling the digital preservation and innovative reinterpretation of traditional patterns. Additionally, the study integrates these technological achievements into an interactive experience project at the Wenzhou Blue Clamp-Resist Dyeing Museum. Through immersive experiences in pattern generation and dissemination, the project effectively enhances public engagement and cultural identity. The findings reveal that generative AI holds significant potential for promoting the digital transformation, innovative dissemination, and sustainable development of ICH. This study offers a practical approach to the preservation and innovation of intangible cultural heritage. By applying generative artificial intelligence, it further expands the potential for enhancing public engagement and promoting innovative cultural heritage transmission. Additionally, it provides new possibilities for leveraging digital technologies to support the sustainable development of intangible cultural heritage. Full article

Background/Objectives: Janus kinase inhibitors open new horizons for small-molecule drugs in treating inflammatory bowel disease, with ritlecitinib demonstrating significant efficacy in clinical trials for ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. Ritlecitinib, a second-generation JAK3 inhibitor, is a novel therapeutic agent for alopecia areata and other autoimmune conditions. Methods: A new stability-indicating UHPLC-DAD-MS/MS method was developed, validated, and applied for a forced degradation study of ritlecitinib under ICH guidelines. Results: The method demonstrated high specificity, sensitivity (LOD: 0.04 µg/mL; LOQ: 0.14 µg/mL), precision (RSD ≤ 0.15%), and accuracy (99.9–100.3%). Forced degradation studies under acidic, basic, oxidative, thermal, and photolytic conditions revealed four novel degradation products. Basic degradation followed second-order kinetics, while oxidative degradation followed zero-order kinetics. Conclusions: The validated method reliably characterized ritlecitinib’s stability and degradation products, providing essential data for optimizing formulation, determining proper storage conditions, anticipating drug–excipient interactions, and ensuring quality control. The eco-friendliness and applicability of the developed forced degradation procedure were evaluated using various green and blue metric tools. Incorporating green analytical principles underscores its potential for sustainable pharmaceutical analysis. Full article

In this study, we provide a comparative analysis of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) research trends in Korea and Japan, aiming to uncover shared knowledge networks and potential areas for sustainable cooperation. We employ a mixed-method approach, combining machine learning-driven topic modeling using Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) and network analysis techniques, to examine a corpus of Korean and Japanese research papers on ICH. LDA topic modeling identified three primary themes: technology and ICH, safeguarding ICH, and methodologies and approaches in ICH research. Comparative analysis reveals distinct characteristics in each country’s approach. Korean research emphasizes practical applications of technology and policy-driven safeguarding strategies, while Japanese research leans towards theoretical exploration and cross-cultural comparisons. Citation network analysis further identifies influential papers and shared knowledge bases, underlining potential opportunities for collaboration. Key findings highlight the potential of technology for ICH preservation and promotion, the necessity of comprehensive safeguarding strategies, and the crucial role of community engagement. Our study suggests that by leveraging their complementary strengths and engaging in collaborative research, Korea and Japan can contribute to the sustainable safeguarding of ICH and foster a deeper understanding of their shared cultural heritage.
